Booklore — Terms of Use

By downloading or using Booklore (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use.

The app

Booklore is a personal book and reading tracker. It is provided to help you organize your reading and is offered on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. Book details (titles, authors, covers) are returned by Open Library (operated by the Internet Archive), with the Google Books API used as a fallback, and belong to their respective owners; Booklore is not responsible for the accuracy of that third-party data.

Your content

The books, ratings, reviews, and notes you add are yours and are stored on your device. You are responsible for keeping your own backups (you can export a CSV at any time). Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the App removes your library unless you have exported it.

Purchases

This version of Booklore has no in-app purchases and no subscriptions — every feature is included, and no payment information is ever requested or handled. If a future version ever offers a purchase, it would be handled by Apple through the App Store; we would never see or hold your payment details in any case.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to disrupt it, or use it to violate any law. The App is for personal, non-commercial use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Booklore and its developer are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
