A real person reads every message. Because Niah stores nothing on a server, please describe what you saw — we have no logs or account to look up on our side.
Open Niah on your old phone, go to Settings → Backup, and export an encrypted backup. Choose a passphrase you will remember. Move that file to the new phone however you like, install Niah, then use Settings → Backup → Import and enter the same passphrase. Restoring an encrypted iPhone backup to the new device also carries Niah's data across.
No — and that is deliberate. The passphrase never leaves your device and is never sent to us, so there is no reset link and no master key. Without the passphrase, an exported backup cannot be decrypted by anyone, including us.
When your logged cycles vary in length, Niah shows a range rather than a single date, because a range is the honest answer. The more cycles you log, the tighter the range becomes.
Sync is opt-in and permission-scoped. Check Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Niah on your iPhone and confirm the categories you want are enabled. iOS asks for read and write permission separately, and it will not re-prompt once you have answered, so a category declined earlier must be re-enabled there.
Neither. There is no sign-up, and no feature is behind a paywall — fertility and ovulation predictions, advanced insights, widgets, the Apple Watch app and encrypted backups are all included. The app may offer one optional one-time supporter tip, which unlocks nothing.
Yes. Turn on Airplane Mode and logging, predictions, the calendar, insights, reminders, widgets and the Watch app all keep working, because every calculation runs on your device. The one exception is the optional supporter tip, which is an App Store transaction and needs a connection.
Delete individual entries in the app, clear your data from the app's settings, or delete the app from your device — that removes its local storage. Data you previously wrote to Apple Health is managed by the Health app and can be deleted there.
By downloading or using Niah ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Pixels512 grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
Niah is an informational tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing in the app is medical advice.
Do not use Niah as a method of contraception. Fertile-window and ovulation estimates are statistical predictions derived from the data you log. They can be wrong, and they cannot prevent pregnancy or the transmission of infections.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, your cycle, contraception, conception, pregnancy or any symptom that concerns you. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something you saw in this app.
Because Niah stores your data only on your device and we operate no server, we cannot restore your data if you lose your device, delete the app, or forget a backup passphrase. Keeping your own backups is your responsibility. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is and is not stored.
Any purchase in the app is a one-time, optional supporter tip that unlocks no functionality. All purchases are processed by Apple and are governed by the App Store terms. Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us; request them at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of predictions, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pixels512 is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
These terms may be updated; the current version always lives at this address with its "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
