Niah Privacy Policy

The short version: Niah collects no personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no tracking, and no internet connection. Everything you log stays on your device.

Introduction

Niah ("we", "our", or "us") is a private period and cycle tracker. It was built so that your most personal information never leaves your phone. This Privacy Policy explains how Niah handles your information — which is to say, how it deliberately does not collect it.

Information We Collect

None. The information you enter into Niah — your periods, flow, symptoms, moods, notes, and settings — is stored only on your device. We never receive a copy of it. Niah makes no network requests and sends your data to no one.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contact information.
We do not collect your location.
We do not collect your advertising identifier (IDFA), and we do not use it.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind.
We do not transmit, sell, or share your cycle or health information — ever.

How Your Data Is Stored

All of your data is stored locally on your device. Niah works completely offline. If you choose to create a backup, that backup is a file that you export and control — Niah does not upload it anywhere. If you import a backup, it is read directly on your device.

Advertising and Third-Party Services

Niah contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs.
Niah uses no third-party analytics or tracking services.
Apple App Store: Used solely to download the app and to process the optional in-app purchase described below.

In-App Purchases

Niah offers an optional one-time "Niah Premium" unlock. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never receive your payment details. Whether you have unlocked Premium is recorded only on your device.

Health Information

Niah lets you track menstrual and related health information. This information is stored only on your device, is never transmitted, and is never shared. Niah is not a medical device and provides estimates for informational purposes only — not medical advice.

Your Rights and Choices

Access & control: All of your data lives on your device and is visible within the app.
Delete: Use "Delete all data" in Settings, or uninstall the app, to permanently remove everything.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete on our side.

Children's Privacy

Niah does not collect data from anyone, including children. It is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last Updated" date above.
